Pastoral Visits
Pastoral visits by the clergy are offered to those who are in hospitals and those who are ill or infirm in other facilities or at home. Pastoral visits by the clergy are also offered to those in need of spiritual counseling, either at home or at the church. To request for a visit for yourself or a loved one, please contact a clergy person or the office.
Request for Prayers
Prayers for individuals and families, and for issues of importance to all of us, are offered on a regular basis at St. Matthew's in scheduled worship and in private meetings with the clergy. We ask parishioners to take home the prayer requests of brothers and sisters to hold in prayer during the week. Prayer requests may be made in person, by telephone, or by email to the St. Matthew's office and are left on the parish prayer list for at least four weeks, and longer upon request. Additionally, prayer requests may be made to the Daughters of the King, who pray intentionally for our parish and her parishioners, especially our children. Those desiring prayers for healing are encouraged to make this need for intentional prayers for God's healing mercies known.
